I have always been someone that has a passion for the beauty & wellness industry. I have been in the skincare industry since 2008, selling skincare products as a hobby, while working in finances for many years.
One day, my life changed dramatically… I did not know what to do and where to start. I came across a post on social media saying: “ Wish it… Dream it… Do it!” And so I made the decision to follow my passion and started my own business working from home. I knew by being a man, working from home, offering facials & massages, would be challenging, but it is my passion and this is what I want to do! There is nothing as rewarding as helping someone feel better at the end of treatment – to relieve them from pain, to help them destress, to get rid of the aging signs or just to feel good. I kept doing what I love and focused on my dream. Another passion is traveling. So I decided to travel to cities doing holistic massages at homes, started slowly in the beginning, and as the word got out, I received messages from all over the country and by having a home beauty & wellness lounge & being The Travel Masseur… I am living my dream
I welcome other therapists that have a great passion for what they do to work alongside me, to run their own businesses with me, to offer more to clients
I also focus on supporting local products that were made for our South African climate.

When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.

Meet Wally Pretorius, the talented hairstylist from Johannesburg with 19 years of experience in the industry. Wally is known for his exceptional skills in creating beautiful hairstyles that perfectly complement his clients’ unique features and personalities. But what truly sets Wally apart is his passion for people and his humble demeanour.
From a young age, Wally knew that he wanted to pursue a career in hairstyling. He was drawn to the creative aspect of the industry and the opportunity to make people feel beautiful and confident. After completing his training at the Ekurhuleni Springs hairdressing college, Wally began his career as an apprentice in a local salon. He quickly developed a reputation for his exceptional skills and friendly demeanour, and his client base grew rapidly.
Wally sold his salon in 2018. He and his partner decided to immigrate to the USA. With some disappointment the immigration did not follow through and due to Covid they returned back to SA. They made the decision to move to Cape Town permanently and this fortunate event lead to him meeting Thys Otto, the owner of aNEWu Beauty and Wellness. They immediately connected and became good friends. Thys has a passion for helping beauty therapists and stylists to generate their own income and give them the opportunity to work as freelancers at his salon.
Over the years, Wally has honed his skills and gained extensive experience working with a wide range of clients, He has a keen eye for detail and a natural talent for creating hairstyles that perfectly complement his clients’ unique features and personalities. Whether it’s a classic updo for a wedding or a bold new look for a fashion shoot, Wally always delivers stunning results. He has been a loyal Goldwell and KMS client and retailer over the years. Quality is of essence when in the beauty industry.
But what truly sets Wally apart is his passion for people. He believes that every client deserves personalized attention and care, and he takes the time to get to know each person who sits in his chair. He listens to their concerns and goals, and works with them to create a look that makes them feel confident and beautiful.
Despite his success and expertise, Wally remains incredibly humble. He is always eager to learn and grow, and he values the relationships he has built with his clients above all else. His warm and friendly demeanour has earned him a loyal following, and he is known throughout Johannesburg as a talented and approachable hairstylist.

Hi I am Cleo
With over 15 years of experience as a fully qualified massage and beauty therapist, I have developed a strong knowledge of a wide variety of beauty treatments and therapies. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with a vast selection of beauty brands, allowing me to become well-versed in prescribing cosmetics, health, and beauty products that will work best for each individual.
My passion for helping people look and feel their best has led me to work in leading spas such as the One and Only Spa. As a committed professional, I take a high-quality, client-centred approach to each individual. I understand that every person is unique and deserves a tailor-made treatment plan that addresses their specific needs. Therefore, no two treatments are exactly the same, and each one is customized to meet the client’s unique requirements after a thorough consultation and analysis.
In addition to my expertise in traditional beauty treatments, I have also added sugaring to my repertoire. Sugaring is an ancient method of hair removal that has become increasingly popular in recent years. It is a gentler and kinder approach to hair removal than traditional waxing, making it an excellent option for clients with sensitive skin.
